VitalHub

VitalHub

VitalHub Type of work Client project Launched December 2016 Technologies used HTML, CSS (Sass), PHP & WordPress Background VitalHub is a rising mHealth platform, designed to make things easier for clinicians, caregivers, and patients in all areas of healthcare. I worked with White Elephant agency to create a new site for them. Result Working closely with the client and White Elephant, I turned a PSD from White Elephant into a working WordPress theme. While developing I also incorporated some UX improvements to the design and flow of the site, and we launched the site before Christmas 2016. Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Angel Cafe

Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Angel Cafe

Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Angel Cafe Type of work Client project Launched July 2016 Technologies used HTML, CSS (Sass), PHP, WordPress, Photoshop and Illustrator Background After the massive success of his cheesecake shops in Toronto, Uncle Tetsu opened up a third location in early 2016. At the time, it was the only place in the world that offered a sit down experience for eating his cakes. Inspired by maid cafes in Japan, the servers all wear maid uniforms. Wanting to break into the Japanese business market, I approached the cafe when they opened as they didn’t have a website yet. Result I designed and coded the website by myself, building on a premium WordPress theme. Using Advanced Custom Fields and knowledge of shortcodes, I created an easy way for the client to make changes to the website. There was some difficulty getting content such as images, videos and copy, but overall it was a great project! See it in action Click on or tap the button to see the Angel Cafe’s live site. Cape Contract Furniture

Cape Contract Furniture

Cape Contract Furniture Type of work Client project Launched December 2015 Technologies used HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, PHP, WordPress, and Photoshop Background “Since 1998, Cape Contract Furniture has been creating and building designs that combine unmatched comfort with timeless style and value.” While Cape’s furniture designs continued to impress, they felt their website was behind the times. I was tasked with designing and creating a new, modern website for them. Result Cape had hundreds of products – and the data couldn’t be ported over from their old site – so a lot of time went into merchandising. As Cape focuses on business-to-business sales, the site serves mostly as a catalog. See it in action Click on or tap the button to see Cape Furniture’s live site.
